The Landowners
The owners of the sites where the proposed mining is planned are longtime Minnesota residents and partners with Minnesota Sands. They are part of the project because they are committed to making sure mining occurs in a way that is responsible, well-managed and reflects their values. They want to make sure their communities benefit from the work to develop and operate the mining facilities and that the reclamation work is completed to the highest possible standards.
They view the company and its plan for the area as an opportunity to be an example in proppant sand mining. Done correctly, the Minnesota Sands project will preserve, if not improve, the quality of their land and set a new standard in mining.
